Location Area Code (LAC):

In a cellular mobile network, the coverage area is divided into multiple cells, and each cell is served by a Base Transceiver Station (BTS) or a cell tower. Multiple cells are grouped together to form a Location Area (LA). The Location Area Code (LAC) is a unique identifier assigned to each Location Area within a mobile network.
