Open Email App:
Open the email application on your mobile device. This could be the default email app that comes with the device or a third-party email app.
Select Email Provider:
Choose the type of email account you want to set up (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook). Most email apps have preset configurations for popular email providers.
Manual Configuration (If Needed):
If your email provider is not in the list or you want to set up a custom configuration, choose the "Manual" or "Advanced" setup option.
Enter Email Address and Password:
Input your email address and password associated with the email account. Ensure that the credentials are accurate.
Incoming Server Settings:
Specify the incoming mail server settings. These typically include:
Email Protocol:
Choose between IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) or POP3 (Post Office Protocol version 3). IMAP is recommended for most cases as it syncs emails across multiple devices.

Enter the server address for incoming emails. This is provided by your email provider.
Port:
Specify the port number for incoming server communication (commonly 993 for IMAP, 995 for POP3).

Select SSL/TLS for a secure connection.
Outgoing Server Settings:
Provide the outgoing mail server settings, including:
Outgoing Server (SMTP):
Enter the server address for outgoing emails.
Port:
Specify the port number for outgoing server communication (commonly 587 or 465).
Security Type:
Choose SSL/TLS for a secure connection.
Authentication:
Enable authentication and use the same username and password as the incoming server.
Account Options:
Set additional account options such as sync frequency, the number of emails to display, and whether to notify for new emails.
Finish Setup:
Complete the setup process. The email app will attempt to verify the settings and establish a connection with the email server.
Security Measures:
If your email provider supports two-factor authentication (2FA), it is recommended to enable it for added security.
Testing:
Send a test email to ensure that the configuration is successful. Also, check if you can receive emails.
